MELISSA HARRINGTON

Founder and CVO

Melissa, originally from California, began her journey as a massage therapist with a dream of eventually having a Wellness Center. From her early days as a massage therapist to becoming the founder of Nirvana, she built her dream without prior experience or a clear roadmap. Her vision, fueled by an unwavering passion for helping people feel their best, has guided her every step of the way. Melissa’s mission extends beyond individual care to nurturing a thriving community of bodyworkers who are valued for their expertise and compensated for the wisdom they bring to the Nirvana community. Every day, Melissa continues to learn and grow, inspired by the potential within each person to feel stronger, healthier, and more connected to their body. At Nirvana, she is building a space where team members and clients alike can flourish, united by a shared commitment to care and growth. Melissa’s ultimate goal is to create a community where everyone can become the best version of themselves, empowered by the belief that taking care of the body we’re given is the first step toward living our fullest lives.

SARAH HODGE

Director of Operations & Experience

Sarah’s path to Nirvana wasn’t a straight line, but every stop along the way taught her something essential about creating spaces where people feel genuinely cared for.

She got her start in esthetics, where she learned that technique matters, but presence matters more. From there, she joined lululemon, leading at the store level across the San Diego and Austin markets before growing into regional community leadership. It’s where she came to understand a simple truth: the energy inside a business is the experience a client feels the moment they walk in.

Sarah then spent time in operations and logistics within the plastics industry in Denver, a shift in industry, but not in skill set. The same attention to detail, team-building, and operational discipline that supports a great client experience behind the scenes.

Alongside it all, Sarah has built Aura Theory, her own experiential hospitality and aura photography company, fueled by her love of crafting moments that make people feel something unexpected.

That blend of heart and hustle is what drew her to Nirvana. She leads from the front, not the sidelines. asking questions, learning fast, laughing often, and caring deeply about the people she works alongside. What you see is what you get, every day.

While sports massage will always hold a special place in her practice, she is equally passionate about expanding her expertise in lymphatic drainage, myofascial work, craniosacral therapy, and migraine-focused care. This path eventually led her to massage therapy. After returning to the United States, she enrolled at the Fuller School of Massage in Virginia Beach, where she completed her training and became a Licensed Massage Therapist. With over a decade of experience, much of it spent in a high-volume clinical environment at Massage Envy, she has developed a highly intuitive and adaptable approach to bodywork. Her quest for knowledge led her from the Outer Banks of North Carolina to Seattle, Washington, where she completed the 750-hour massage therapy program at Cortiva Institute. She continued to develop her skills at Banya 5, a renowned contrast hydrotherapy spa, where she integrated her education and growing clinical experience while working with clients experiencing trauma and other physical challenges. Her passion for education and sharing her knowledge later led her to Advanced Fuller Massage School, where she recently taught neuromuscular therapy. Today, as a licensed massage therapist, she specializes in neuromuscular therapy, shoulder rehabilitation, relaxation massage, medi cupping and reiki. She is client centered, results driven, and an intuitive healer incorporating her passion for understanding of the whole person. Above all, Brooke believes that every body has its own story and unique path toward healing. She approaches each session with curiosity, compassion, intuition, and intention—meeting her clients where they are and helping them move toward where they want to be. Her work is grounded in the belief that massage is not simply about relieving tension; it is about creating space for the body and mind to restore, reconnect, and heal.

MELISSA MOORE

Teaching yoga since 2018, she is an RYT-500 and YACEP who believes movement should feel good, create connection, and most importantly—be fun. That sense of connection is something she hopes to share with students through movement, breath, music, and playfulness. Her classes are creative, energetic, and welcoming, with space for students to explore movement in their own way. Her philosophy is simple: if it’s not fun, why are we doing it? Outside of yoga, she loves traveling, spending time with her family, baking bread, and finding new adventures.

Rachael’s creative and movement practices are deeply intertwined, both rooted in her connection to the earth. Whether she’s moving, making art, or wandering through the woods, that relationship shapes how she creates, teaches, and moves through the world.
