EVER.Her deep-tissue work has helped fix chronic injuries and nagging issues that I honestly thought I was just going to have to live with. More importantly, she has helped keep me active and able to do the things I want to do. I have literally limped onto Ann’s table and jumped off of it when she was finished.What sets Ann apart is that she doesn’t just find the spot that hurts and attack it. She has an uncanny ability to figure out where the problem is actually coming from, work through the muscles and connective tissue involved, and somehow convince everything to start behaving again.The best way I can describe how I feel at the end of a session with Ann is like the inside of a fresh donut.Not the hole. The good part.Warm, soft, smooth and perfectly pliable. Not a knot or hard spot to be found.It’s an admittedly strange unit of measurement for massage therapy, but once you’ve achieved donut, you’ll understand.If you just want a relaxing massage, Ann can certainly do that. Second tim only 5 min late and when I mentioned that his pressure was on the lighter side previously he seemed to overcompensate. I'll take responsibility for that one. All in all the flow was a bit disorganized and problem areas addressed less than one would expect for a 90 min session. I clench my jaw like crazy and even with conscious effort, I haven't been able to relax it enough on my own. I came here and saw Michael - he was really reassuring that I was safe (I'm an anxious girly, first massage in a long time!!), we talked about my symptoms and what he'd focus on and he got to work. It was such a relaxing and relieving experience with him - he checked in often to make sure I was still doing okay. Felt like he was working on muscles I didn't even know I had.
